Refund Policy Returns & Exchanges

Hi Family, please read a thought-out passage on customer returns, change of minds, cancellations and refunds.

As a top tier Muslim company, we are a business striving to achieve customer excellence. Our flexible returns and refunds policy unfortunately became unsustainable due to a surge of large orders cancelled during transit, orders placed and cancelled before dispatch, simple change of minds and so on. Simply refunding minus shipping did not consider the high costs of the time it takes to find stock within our massive range, the labour, the packaging, booking, and dispatching. In certain instances, some orders have stock transited across states for us to dispatch, all of which are costs which we absorb and lose.

Due to this we have changed our policy to still be fair and above industry standards and offer only store credit vouchers for refunds and cancelled orders. Items which are faulty/non merchantable quality will still receive full refunds.

This also applies to orders which have been packed and wrapped and not yet booked. Whilst we understand human error and nature, this is the fairest method we have come up with to satisfy our loyal customers to maintain a sustainable business.

Perfume Return Policy

Due to the nature of perfume products, we maintain a strict return policy to ensure quality and hygiene for all our customers.

To be eligible for a return, perfume items must be completely unused, in original condition, and with all factory seals fully intact.

Important: If the seal has been opened, removed, or tampered with in any way, the item will be considered used and will not qualify for a return or exchange, no exceptions.

To request a return for a perfume purchase, please contact us at salam@darussalam.com.au. If your request is approved, we will provide return instructions and shipping details.

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Items must be returned within 7 days of purchase.

Please note Darussalam does not refund or exchange items unless it does not fit within merchantable conditions (i.e faulty or broken). If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at salam@darussalam.com.au and send your item to:

All claims must be made within 7 days of purchase strictly.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 working days.

Exchanges (if applicable) We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at salam@darussalam.com.au and send your item to:
